Terms of service

The following Rules & Policies form part of your agreement with Camp Summerdaze for entry into Camp Summerdaze (the “Campout”), held at our privately-owned property in Southeastern Algonquin, Ontario, Canada (the “Property”).  Camp Summerdaze is a brand operated by Birchwood Valley Ltd., an Ontario corporation.
Exact location and directions will be provided to confirmed attendees prior to arrival. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Campout, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Camper Waiver, and all applicable policies referenced herein.   
1. Age Policy
Camp Summerdaze is primarily a 21+ event. However, minors may attend only within designated family programming areas and must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. All attendees must present valid government-issued photo ID upon entry. Failure to provide valid identification may result in denied entry without refund.
2. Refund Policy
All Camp Summerdaze tickets and products are final sale and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Tickets are transferable in accordance with our Ticket Transfer Policy. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
  • Early departure or inability to attend
  • Schedule or lineup changes
  • Event interruptions or early termination
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Forest fires, fire bans, or acts of nature
  • Government regulations or public health directives
  • Any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Camp Summerdaze
Camp Summerdaze is a rain-or-shine event, and programming is subject to change. In the event the Campout is cancelled by the organizers, any refund issued will be limited to the portion of ticket fees not already allocated to non-recoverable production costs. We believe this community is something we build together, and we appreciate your understanding as we steward its resources with care.
Ticket Access:
No physical tickets will be issued. All attendees must present a valid QR code for entry.
3. Ticket Transfer Policy
Tickets may be transferred through the official online ticketing platform only.
  • Transfers must be completed by July 29, 2026
  • The original purchaser must update the new attendee’s full name and email in the system
  • Tickets may be transferred once only
  • Upon transfer, the original ticket becomes void
The new ticket holder must present:
  • A valid QR code
  • A completed waiver
  • Government-issued photo ID matching the ticket
Failure to comply may result in denied entry without refund. Camp Summerdaze is not responsible for private resale transactions or transfers. Camp Summerdaze reserves the right to cancel or refuse entry to any ticket that has been resold or transferred in violation of this policy.
4. Arrival Policy
General Admission access begins Thursday, July 30 at 5:00 PM and ends Monday, August 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM.  Early arrival is not permitted unless otherwise specified.
5. Force Majeure
Camp Summerdaze shall not be liable for any failure or delay resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, forest fires, fire bans, public health emergencies, government regulations, or infrastructure failures.
6. Data & Privacy
By using our website and purchasing a ticket, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Media & Photography
By attending Camp Summerdaze, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded.Your image, likeness, voice, and participation may be used for promotional, documentary, and marketing purposes without compensation. All media captured on the Property is subject to a non-exclusive, perpetual license granted to Camp Summerdaze.
8. Parking
All vehicles must have a valid pre-purchased parking pass prior to arrival. Parking is permitted in designated areas only. Camp Summerdaze is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.
9. Alcohol & Substances

Camp Summerdaze does not sell, serve, or provide alcohol on the Property.

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a safe, respectful, and responsible manner at all times.

Camp Summerdaze reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the Property, without refund, for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, illegal, or inconsistent with the values of the event.

Camp Summerdaze assumes no responsibility or liability for the actions, behaviour, or condition of any participant while attending the Campout.

10. Prohibited Items & Activities
The use of fireworks, smoke bombs, open flames, personal campfires, or any incendiary devices is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in removal from the Property without refund and/or subject to fines and prosecution.
11. Right to Refuse Entry & Removal
Camp Summerdaze reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant without refund for behavior deemed unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or inconsistent with the values of the event.
12. Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own health and medical needs. Camp Summerdaze does not provide comprehensive medical care and assumes no responsibility beyond basic onsite support.
Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement
By attending Camp Summerdaze, you agree to the following:
  1. Assumption of Risk
Participation involves inherent risks including injury, illness, property damage, or death. These risks may arise from activities, environmental conditions, or the actions of others. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
      2. Participant Responsibilities
You confirm that:
  • You meet the age requirements
  • You are physically and mentally capable of participation
  • You will follow all event rules and policies
  • You are responsible for your own equipment and wellbeing.   
      3. Release from Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive and release Camp Summerdaze, its affiliates, and all associated parties from any claims arising from participation, including injury, illness, death, or property damage.
      4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Camp Summerdaze from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
      5. No Duty to Supervise
Camp Summerdaze assumes no responsibility for supervising participants or their activities.
      6. Communicable Diseases
You acknowledge the risk of exposure to communicable diseases (including COVID-19 or others) and assume all associated risks.
      7. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
      8. Severability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
      9. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with referenced policies, constitute the full agreement between you and Camp Summerdaze.

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending Camp Summerdaze, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
